In 1932, Maurice Roche, passionate about vines, took over the operation of the family vineyard. In 1963, Marcel Roche gradually increased the vineyard surface area by investing in 74 extra acres and he focused on the plots of the Cairanne AOC. After going to school in Beaune, Romain Roche decided to fly to Australia and then to the US, in Napa Valley, to improve his wine making skills. Back in France, he finished his studies and graduated in oenology. After a few work experiences in Medoc and Provence, Romain finally came back home in 2009 to take over the family business.
