Domaine Leclerc (est. 1962) is a historic 20-acre vineyard in Gevrey-Chambertin, and consists of some of the finest vineyards in the appellation. The vineyards are renowned for their exceptional age, typically 50-80 years old. René makes traditionally-styled wines with sustainable farming, ambient yeasts, and low yields, allowing the grapes to find their balance of ripeness and acidity, before being lovingly harvested by hand.
