After traveling and working in agriculture, Jean Claude Roux settled on a family farm in Central Loire region. He got his start producing cereals and raising sheep. Then, with the support of his wife he started his own vineyard in Quicy with a couple of acres. 1995 was their first vintage and it was immediatly rewarded by the press. Today the estate is run by their son Albin and have expanded the domaine to 18.5 acres in Quincy and 8 acres in Chateaumeillant.
