Dolcetto

Piedmont, Italy

The first documentation of winemaking activity during the end of the 20th century, when the winery, managed by their grandfather Attilio, had little more than 8 hectares. In the 1970s, the reins of the winery passed into the hands of his son Marino and later, at the end of the 1980s in line with the generational changeover, his sons Orlando and Attilio took over the business. In 2017, Orlando's eldest daughter Lisa joined the company, historically heralding in the fourth generation of Pecchenino and more notably, the first female to be involved with the winery. The Pecchenino property currently consists of 35 hectares of vineyards, divided between the municipalities of Dogliani, Monforte d'Alba and Bossolasco, and two cellars, a historic cellar in Dogliani and a more recently built cellar in Monforte d'Alba.
